Or Lilly and a 2nd? In your eyes is Lilly equivalent to two 1st round picks? Because thats the change between the two trades.

You are undervaluing the leafs players. top 6 LW, Bottom 4 LD with good potential, top 5 prospect, 2nd round pick. Anaheim is in need of a rebuild and these players fit every slot. Active players, future player and a draft pick

while an upgrade to the blue line would help, we still have to see how lehtonen does. Dermott will get better, he’s still young. Liljegren and Sandin will be top 4 guys in 1-2 years.
Use the 15th pick to draft a RHD or a pretty good forward.
