Rakell is better than Domi. Rakell has a better contract than Domi. So no.

Domi is a credible centreman; Rakell is not. Any GM would do this straight up if it meant trading a good winger who's 27 and has had one year of almost 70 points in exchange for a centreman who is two years younger, can play all three forward positions. Rakell is a fine player, though he's yet another small forward who isn't likely to help the Habs.

I'm not a fan of those teams, but I see that you included needs from both teams, C + RD for the ducks and goal + power to the Habs. Domi for Rakell is a wash, they are the same range/level of player. Comtois and Fleury + 2nd is interesting. Anaheim already have a few young power fowards in their system and their needs for a RD is big. I guess the value is realistic. Well done.

Honestly in a domi for rakell 1 for 1 I give the slight edge to Anaheim. Rakell is better now yes but domi is younger and a centerman. I think Anaheim says yes
