that will sign pettersson and hughes only... so where is the money to re-sign Demko? and where is the money to sign a back up? you only have 1 goalie showing on the roster. and also how do you afford to replace the 3 other forwards and 2 other D that are expiring?

petty had 66 points in 68 games unless he gets over 100 this season no reason he should get over 8 mil and hughes will get a no more than 7 mil leaving 5 mil and you can always buyout the last year of eriksson

42 million already for 2021-22. That leaves 10 million in cap space to sign 5 more forwards, 3 defensemen and 1 backup goalie. Even if you buy out Loui on his last year that's only 2 million in savings. Then tack on another one million the following year.
