Unfortunately we've always been a fringe playoffs team, or we barely missed the playoffs for most of those years lol. That's why we never had much high-end prospects. It's hard to commit to a full rebuild in a market like Montréal.

yeah 100% I get what you're saying. Though if toronto could commit to a full rebuild, so could MTL.
