I know. Eichel is BUF's franchise guy, I honestly don't believe they'd ever move him unless he demanded a trade. He and Kane are pretty tight thouugh, so I can see him interested in coming here if it were ever the case.

That Demelo number is the one Evolving Wild is predicting, so I'm going with their projection.

If that were the case and it really isnt, Id much rather have Meier and Hertl. What a waste that would be. Taylor Hall, Matt Duchene, , JT Miller with Ryan McDonagh, Mark Stone, Ryan O’Reilly, Filip Forsberg, Mike Richards, Tyler Seguin, Brent Burns...it goes on and on Erik Karlsson, None of them got a return like that. Eichel never has won an award, never led the league in scoring never played in the playoffs...your comment is unrealistic at best.

Eichel is an elite centre in the game. He isnt Mario Lemieux or Eric Lindros and the return for him on this website (nothing new) is massively overblown. Hertl, Meier and 3 firsts could return a package of players that together trump Eichel no problem. They treat him like Crosby in his prime when hes more like a prime Claude Giroux.

Truth is, there is no realistic trade that would ever satisfy you. Eichel is all you have because you have nothing else, so when he inevitably demands a trade out of BUF I'm sure the return will be far from satisfactory.

No there are trades that I would get behind. From Jersey, Nico, 7OA, 21 2nd, Tyler Smith and nolan Foote. 2 real good prospects, and 2C with potential to be a number one, a good pick and second. Sure seems like you did... and btw, go look at what I wrote about Buf fans asking too much. This is a site about creating any and all packages for players in a trade correct? You have levels of good to bad proposals. This wasn’t the best. I’m done taking shots at the Sharks, I like them out west along with a few other teams. Very fun team to watch and cheer for. And for the record, I’m in the camp that even if Eichel requests a trade, don’t do it. He’s signed for 5 years and I don’t think he’d give up 50M. Tell him to play and if a trade comes along that Benefits Buf, sure we’ll move ya.

The reality is Jack Eichel has more value to the Sabres than whatever they could get in return for him. If he requested a trade they would not immediately make one, They would wait for a bidding war and take the highest bid. It probably would not satisfy Sabres fans anyway. There’s no way to sell a Fanbase trading away your best player and not getting another tremendously good player in return.
