Yeah how far have the Leafs gotten with Andersen, They pretty much get knocked out of the first round year in and year out. Grubauer has been more solid for the AVs then Andersen for the Leafs. If Andersen is so wonderful then why is there talk of moving him and bringing a better goaltender in then.

They have a much worse defense than Colorado and Andersen is not a goalie who can carry a team, which they’re looking for. He is consistently good but he doesn’t have the next level to where he can play well without a defense in front of him. Toronto can get that with a Fleury, a Holtby, etc. Personally if I’m the Leafs I would keep him and improve the defense with that extra $2 million instead but whatever. Theyre set on moving him and to rely on a goalie playing out of his mind to win a Cup. It’s a high risk high reward scenario

He’s exactly what Colorado needs on the other hand. Consistent, durable goaltending. They don’t need a goalie who can steal a game. Grubauer is good, but at his best and healthy he’s not as good as Andersen. Also his injury concerns are very very concerning.
