What's with the hate for Detroit? Yes are they bad? Yes.

But they are not a crap hole. They were in the playoffs for 25 years ina row, won 4 cups, what can you say about Ottawa? No cups, missed the playoffs alot in those 25 years, have one of the worst owners in any major sport and a bunch of drama the last couple of years.

This situation we are in because we tried every year to win a cup, sometimes erroneously, but at least we tried. Because of this we had a broken farm team, draft picks either traded or most picks in the 20's.
We have a GM that is better with aproven record, a strong fan base and we will be back, and it will take time.
