Time to bring back everyone from the 2013-14 core that came so close to winning the Stanley Cup. The Rangers fire David Quinn and re-hire Alain Vigneault who just got fired by the Philadelphia Flyers. Glen Sather returns to his GM duties demoting Jeff Gorton back to assistant GM. St. Louis, Nash, Richards, Pouliot, Carcillo, Dominic Moore, Dorsett, Girardi, Klein, Asham, Powe, and Falk are all convinced by Sather to come out of retirement and resume their careers in both the NHL and AHL, Diaz, Mashinter, and Allen are signed over from Europe, Brassard, Boyle, and Talbot are all signed as UFA’s, Fast is re-signed as a UFA, and Stepan, Hagelin, Zuccarello, McDonagh, Stralman, John Moore, J.T. Miller, and McIlrath are all acquired via trades. It’ll cost the entire present and future to re-acquire these 8 illustrious players and the 1st overall pick will also have to be sacrificed, but it’ll all be more than worth it to bring back these 8 players as the Rangers bring these pieces back together for some unfinished business. I am 100% confident that this Rangers roster can finish what they started 7 seasons ago and bring a championship back to New York where it belongs. Get it done boys!!!!!
