He's so close. I just love the way that Eichel plays. If Matthews improves his d game a little bit more, he probably overtakes Eichel.

matthews finished 16th in selke voting, eichel didnt have a vote, matthews is better on d, and if you look at it that way then you have to adjust all your rankings, not matthews fault buffalo sucks, renihart should be better, eichel had kane, ror, skinner ( not matthews fault he was awdul, matthews seems to be the one that gets affected by eichel teammates more since thats all that gets brought up in comparisons, "If" eichel had this, "if" eichel had that, morale of the story he doesnt and at the moment matthews is better, they are very close tho.
