I have this guy blocked But I just wanna say, I hate him. I hate him so much for making me look at this garbage. It still shows peoples trades and seeing those two names next to each other insults Brock and insults the Canucks.

Wow easy on the hatred. Am I wrong when I look at their stats and think that Brock hasn’t really done anything better than Domi in his career? Just another case of people evaluating players based on how much they like them. Not their production

It’s not about how much people like Brock it about the fact that Domi has been in the league one year more and not only that but Boeser after his rookie season which ended with a back injury, had to rehab a wrist injury that got hurt during the season came back and didn’t get his stride going even tho he almost matched his rookie point total, than this season as he signed out of college he had to sign a new contract which took a while for him to get figured out so he didn’t have a full training camp.

I get the stats may look similar to you but in 375 games Domi has 81 Goals and 170 assists where as Boeser in 197 games has 75 goals and 86 assists. Sure Domi has more helpers and goals but the amount of games is what makes the difference between them and goals matter most to teams

This seems a bit excessive... I agree I wouldn’t do this if I were Vancouver but don’t really think it’s that far off. Boeser is more valuable as a goal scorer but Domi is still a solid, reliable player who has shown the ability to play every forward position, which holds a lot of value. I think if you add in a decent prospect or solid draft pick it could make sense, especially if Van sees Domi as a centre.

Domi loses half his value because of his attitude/locker room problems. He's been bounced around because of it and everyone is shying away. Statistically I understand what you're saying but it's well known that he has minimal value because he's a failed project mentally.

The fact that Shane Doan advocates for how good a person and how upset he was to see Arizona trade him away is evidence of the exact opposite. He’s not a locker room issue at all mtl wants him and loves his grit but he holds value more as a trade chip if they can upgrade their wingers when he’s better at centre and they have Suzuki JK and Danault already up the middle. As for mtl adding a decent prospect or draft pick have you not seen the emergence of kulak. They were raving about him all playoffs as one of mtl a most important pieces.

Why would the Canucks trade for him to play center behind Petey and Bo? They already have Gaudette who is still learning and is fine as a 3rd liner. Boeser is a better winger than Domi is, so whatever sweetener is offered- it has to be better than Kulak, much better.
