I agree, no need for Kulikov, just roll Mete to the right side 3D spot.

Danault better be a sign and trade, I don't see him staying in Winnipeg, it's cold AF there lol

Faksa's having a good playoffs, i think he commands more than Kulak.

There is virtually no chance Winnipeg moves 10OA for Danault.

Mete is worth at least as much as Greenway, and the deal happens if Brodin is gone

Danault's Québécois lol, he knows winter it's not like he's from Texas

Kulak also had insane playoffs and would do wonders with Klingberg

Wouldn't be surprising after giving up first round picks for rentals 2C two years in a row, especially since Danault is better than both and comes extended

There's a big difference between a first after the 20th pick and the 10OA. Easy no from Winnipeg , Danault isn't worth anywhere close to a high 1st.

not saying they aren't equal in value.

I'm saying, why sign Kulikov when you have Mete?

Quebec and Manitoba are very different winters.... Montreal's average low, -12 (excluding windchill) Winnipeg -18 (excluding windchill)... winnipeg is terrible, and during the summer, the black fly's eat you alive.

Faksa would sign for less in Dallas (better state tax than Quebec). and on LD, they have Lindell, Oleksiak, Shea and Harley in the system... Kulak doesn't have much value for them.

If the Wild move Brodin and come your way, they will be looking at Romanov. Not saying they get him, but I think that’s where Minnesota sees a deal. I also think there is a discussion for both if Brodin moves.

Understood. I think if the Wild move Brodin, Montreal could expect a call from the Wild regarding Romanov and Mete.

Possible, but the Habs wouldn't do it. There's even less chance now since Edmundson

I mean Kapanen just got the Leafs 15th overall and a prospect, Danault just came 6th in Selke voting, him being extended is worth quite a bit more then Kapanen, not hard to do the math

You're citing Kapanen? The deal everyone in the hockey world agrees was a severe overpayment? The one everyone thinks Rutherford got bent over on? You're basing it on that?

You added me to your ignore list because you have a broken concept of Danault's trade value based on one of the worst overpayments in recent memory by the Penguins GM? lmao

We are not trading Danault - KK and Suzuki are promising right now, but they are not ready to carry the load that would be left behind Danault. They will sign him longterm.

Putting these fairly unneeded statistics aside, Faksa has been invaluable for the Stars playoff run.

He's been very impressive thus far and there's virtually no reason to move the guy.
