yeah that wouldnt get Korpisalo. Still though if Friedmans comments are correct if Dubas was willing to move Nylander the jackets are prepared to give Merz + Savard or Korp + Savard for him or a top 6 (20+) goalscorer in general

Seems like EDM should just go for Korpisalo if the asking price is that low. AA, Benning and a 3rd

It’s not.... that trade wouldn’t get Columbus to move Korpisalo. We’d need a top 6 center in any trade with Korpisalo Involved.

I second the comments made above -- not anywhere near enough for Korpisalo (because I don't think they're even considering trading him), and take a second out of the Edmonton deal. But the rest of it looks good, including the signings.

They are....sort of. Elvis is their guy internally. They have a good group of goalies in the system. If they could replenish some of the picks they gave up the last few years or add a piece they like then he’s gone. But they are not trading him for the sake of trading him.
