Askarov isn't going 5th

Sens are loaded with young forwards and D. I could see that happening

Then they'll trade down to get more assets, the #5 pick is worth a lot and there are better players available.

Grans would be great at 48th, but I would hate it if we picked Zary at 16th.

And foudy would be nice. But I agree, no zary

Bourque at 28 would be an absolute steal for the Sens

Rossi at 10... I would be uhhhh quite happy

Zary was one of the top players in the WHL in his third season in the league and the major reason why Kamloops led the WHL in scoring. He’s one of the most skilled players in the draft.
He doesn’t just dangle on the perimeter, he attacks the net, he pressures defenders and he is in the face of his opponents constantly. He can kill penalties and run your power play. The only knock on him is his skating. But that can come with more strength. He’s going to be really good.

The major reason? He played with a 91 point guy and a 44 goal 81 point guy. He put up decent numbers on a stacked team. He doesn’t have any special attribute. I’d much rather Jacob Perrault. Habs need an all out offensive player

I'd be disappointed if Avs passed on Reichel at 24. He likely goes in the mid teens though.
