That’s going to be a pass from me. Although, an overpaid 7th d and Ritchie definitely do help us lose more games for the rebuild.

Don't need to bring back Nordstrom.

Correct deals for Chara. Same for DeBrusk, Kuhlman, Senyshyn (although they could get couple less $100Ks). Not sure if Grzelcyk takes that for seven years but 3-4, probably.

Not enough for Palmieri; will likely need a 1st. Only need one winger because Studnicka is ready so pass on the BUF deal. Not sure Vaakanainen is ready; let's see at camp.

Lindholm doesn’t help Buffalo do anything. Bjork would be better, you can keep your 2nd then.

Yeah, a third round pick that gets negated by the fact we give up a fourth round pick which will probably be ~5 picks later and a sixth rounder. Where do I sign up?

Anything without Studnicka, a 1st or similar isn’t going to get a lot of traction with NJD. Don’t need both, but certainly need one.

Okay take off the picks and add a conditional 7th in 2030 if Ritchie can outskate Larkin at practice.

Yes, it is.

Bjork is going to be a very good player. I know he seems a bit old to be developing now, but he was derailed by injuries his first two pro years. He came into this season much stronger and it showed.
Kid has Elite speed, his hands and shot are up there too. At a minimum 2/3 years at 1.6m will be 20g and a dynamic skater who can be a good penalty killer. The salary retention is questionable, or at least the amount.

It's a fair deal because Palmieri only has one year left and I see him getting a decent raise, the Bruins won' t pay.

Definitely. Cupboard ain’t bare in Boston.

I was saying 1st/Studnicka to show value.

I think the trade from B’s fan that I liked the most was Bjork/Clifton and a pick. But I like Bjork more than most.

I honestly don't see that happening. There is no way.

He isn't worth it with 1 year left. He is a 30 goal scorer when he plays a full season. He can't stay healthy for a full season. He has also been a horrible playoff performer. He is a little harder to play against than Bjork, but not enough to toughen the Bruins up. He is still under 6'

The Bruins are not giving you what they believe to be their future 1C or 2C for a 1 year rental. They would be better off going many other routes (dadynov, Hall, Hoffman). With them not signing Krug it appears they intend to spend their money elsewhere. Not to mention Bjork will more than likely score 15-20 next year so there is no way you give that much up for a +10 goals.

Good Palmeri deal,
Bad other deals. We dont want MOJO back and that Detriot deal makes zero sense whatsoever

Nordstrom isnt coming back
Senyshyn isnt getting a 1 way deal

Now for my opinion:
Studnicka will make the team, and Krug will return

Overall: meh, needs work boss

What the?

Palmieri is about as tough as they come, my man. Relentless forechecker that routinely puts up 25-30 goals on crappy teams. His shot is good, especially on Ovi dot on power play, but it is not elite. His speed is above average, but he’s not a burner. His production comes from scrap, toughness, smarts, and quick release. I don’t care what his height is. This is not the draft. He would 100% make the Bruins tougher...and in many ways is exactly what they need.

Vaakanainen needs a full season in Providence. Zboril moved passed him as well. Agree with everything else.

Heard that from reports but looking forward to see him this year during the preseason. Same for Zboril who needs waivers to get sent down.

No, unless he has a career year somehow. But I would think we can get a better second round pick than one of the bottom five.

Ok - Let me rephrase. Yes, I know he is tough. To his detriment. Size does matter though. There is a difference if Coyle or Carlo hits you vs Krug (who is also tough). Victor Headman running into you 15 times a game is worse than Krug. They need size more so than toughness. They are plenty tough, so are other guys who happen to be bigger.

12 Kyle Palmieri's are going to be worn down by 12 Tom Wilson's.

That's just not true. Who is soft? - bjork would be the closest, maybe debrusk, but it's not that he won't go in the corner, he is just a bean pole and get out muscled. Kase? ok, but not really - dude isn't physical pertaining to him hitting, but he will take a hit to make a play. Probably too much. Much like Debrusk. Hence both with concussion issues.

I mean really, they aren't soft. They are just too small. Especially on the back end. The only real forward they have with any size is Coyle. Bergeron is their second biggest forward. No amount of Compete is going to change physics.

Bruins - 7 guys under 6' (3 of their top 6 D) & McAvoy is listed as 6'
Tampa - 4 guys under 6' ( 0 Dmen)
Stars - 6 guys under 6' ( 0 Dmen)
Vegas - 4 guys under 6' (0 Dmen)
Isles - 6 guys under 6' (0 Dmen) 5 of them 5'11" and to prove my point certainly not soft players but still being manhandled by tampa (Czikas, Komorov, Clutterbuck, JGP & Beauvillier)

Let's also be honest. Tampa is a real good team.

Zboril playing for his Home town team in the czech league will be helpful.
