This looks good, although we could see both Suzuki & Romanov get more. Petry will probably command more money as well. Hopefully the cap goes up after 21-22, but I’m not optimistic.

Romanov is bridged, so this makes perfect sense to me as it is relatively high for a two-year contract considering what Nurse, Sanheim & co got. I agree about Suzuki. However, I could totally see Petry taking a paycut to stay here as he will be 34 when entering his new contract and probably won't be willing to move elsewhere

I like this, agreed Petry would command abit more. I could see a 3 year 6-6.5 next offseason.

We still have the issue of missing size upfront.

Definitely. I’m saying that Romanov could get more. It’s unlikely, but possible. As for Petry, he could take a pay cut, but I’d expect at least a year more on his contract then.

My guess is that Petry's taking a pay cut as he likes it here and probably won't be willing to move at 34yo. Norlinder's already my favorite hab lol

The most things that I don't like is how our team is small... no 6+ft guy on either wings... that's bad

On a 4th line, I take RHP over Poehling.

RHP had showed no promises yet

Poehling is more of a top 9 offensive forward, while RHP could play a grinder role
