If the Jets trade Laine, it needs to be for a 2C and/or top 4RHD. So, the Jets and Leafs aren't good trading partners.

Marner for Laine is interesting but if effort and mental toughness is part of what ales the leafs, Laine is not helping that problem. Laine may end up being a better player but Marner is a better player now and can drive play and PK which Laine does not do. That being said it would be sick to see a a PP flanked by Matthews and Laine

What's the Logic behind the LA trade?

The Edmonton trade is an overpay, it's too early to give up on Liljegren and if you're signing Demelo why trade for Larsson?

Johnsson could get more, hes getting paid less than his cap hit but we would be selling low. If you're getting picks I'd want to get more than just a 3rd. If Kappy got a 1st and a B prospect Johnsson can get more than a 3rd. Also NYR will have Panarin, Krieder and Laf on the left wing.

the Georgiev offersheet is a cool idea, some risk but i'd like him a lot in a tendem.

lastly Dermott and SOupy could be squeezed more and I don't see Demelo getting 5 mill, I'd love him on the leafs though
