I really want the Flames to target Laine, but Backlund is the only center that can play against toughs. Neither Monahan nor Lindholm fair well in this regard. Rolling Monahan, Lindholm (maybe), and Bennett probably isn't going to work. I'd drop Backlund out of that trade and the peripheral Jets pieces and focus on a Hanifin/propsect(s)/pick(s) package.
