Tampa knows how to roll without him. It’ll come down to playing a full 60 for the Isles. They know how to shut teams down but Tampa can fly and if they get even 10 minutes Isles could lose the game. I don’t have the isles winning but they can’t hang with Tampa in a back and forth game

Imo if the Isles play THEIR game and control the pace, they can win. They just need to limit shots against as they can and stop Tampa in the neutral zone.

I agree man the Islanders are more than capable of hanging with the Lightning. We beat the Lightning twice this year. Last season they beat us twice. Which tells me both teams have a 50-50 chance of winning. In my opinion, like every series it'll come down to goaltending (give the edge to Tampa, the islander goaltenders are a crap shoot whether we get a hot goalie or cold goalie on any given night.) and turn overs (give the edge to the Islanders their entire system is based on it.).
