Description

I don't know if that Winnipeg trade is fair or not. Monahan is pretty valuable, and I did see a Winnipeg fan moving Pionk in a different post, but Winnipeg is already short on defense, so trading away Pionk is probably not in their cards. And they may not want to take on Giordano's contract. Thoughts?

We wouldn't want Gio but it could be possible to move Pionk if we were acquiring a top pair RHD in the process.

I.e. We have Poolman on the third pair, sign DeMelo or Hamonic as a free agent to play on the second pair and then acquire a top pair RHD somehow.

I wouldn't be interested in this particular offer but getting Gio means we could send Pionk back. I think we're just looking for younger players. For example if you kept Gio and gave us Andersson instead, we could move Pionk back in a deal like that.
