It's ok, value wise I don't mind it, I think Calgary moves a big piece like Hanifin to fill a glaring hole (RW, RD) this move gives the Flames:
Tkachuk
Gaudreau
DeBrusk
Dube
Mangiapane
Kuraley
Lucic
Quine
Pelletier
Ruzicka

I really don't think he is. Unless there is something really wrong with someone in his family, it's a hard thing to explain away.

Family is family and I don't actually blame him for that. He did what's best for him and his family. I would have too.

That being said, he gets paid 7m a year to make certain sacrifices. Again, to be clear. ALL of this is based on not knowing what the issue was. He had the family issues last year as well.

At this point in his life, his family is much more of a priority than the Bruins or hockey. Not begrudging him. It would be for me too. I would quit my job to make sure my family is safe/happy/healthy. Especially if a child is involved.

He had a Baby during the pandemic, and he has two other kids. I can't imagine having a newborn and two young kids is an easy thing to do alone. We know because of last year, there is a family or personal issue already. On top of that, this is not the 1st time he had bagged out on them. I don't see it continuing to be ok. this time may have been legit, but it is a bit of a pattern now.

Point being, I think the Bruins trade him and he retires or he ends up on LTIR with an injury. I don't think he plays again in a Bruins uniform.

My thought process was, this would enable them to move Gaudreau and fill some other holes. I thought about a clifton or Zboril instead of pick swap.

Fair enough, I sit pretty strongly in the camp that you don't trade 99 point guys, I think big moves from Calgary this year are Monahan and Hanifin, personally from Boston for Hanifin I would want to see Kase, other than that there are going to be better trade partners out there.

First off, i dont care what job you are in, family comes first. Second, you have no idea what his family emergency was about... whether his daughter tested positive, or his wife did? you dont know. His family issues last year was his wife cheating on him...

He will play out his deal with the bruins and then idk what happens from there. Gotta think a few players took this "playoff" as a joke no? kase screwed the team by breaking quarantine rules and bar hopping, so did pastrnak who ended up getting injured because he wasnt in good enough shape.

For the last time, Lehner isn't taking a short term deal. He wants either 5 x 6.5m or 6 x 6.5m 3 x 5m isn't getting it done flat cap or not.

No you can’t call me Shirley. Thought I was looking at another deal. Yah that’s a lot.
