You do know he's going to ask for 2-3 million to play the 4th line as an edge player why not trade him and sign pat maroon or corey perry for 1 million who do the same thing and have a couple veterans on the team

Buffalo was top 10 in 5v5 defense last year. Deangelo would be just another middle pairing Dman, which they already have a surplus of. Lundqvist is a cap dump, the first is the only useful piece and it’s a later one. There’s nothing there for a back end first line winger.
