The more I reread Krugs quotes from today make me think we either overpay him, or he walks. Hes a great guy and want to set his family up for success and given how good Gryz has looked on the top PP, it may be in the Bruins best interest to let him go.

And as much as its been overdone on this site, I think Nurse for Debrusk makes a lot of sense. I've loved Debrusk since day one, but we really haven't seen a big uptick in production over the past two year. I still think it'll be giving up on him too early but you need to give up something to get a top Dman, free agency is dry as a bone. EDM's defensive structure is terrible and I could see Nurse flourishing in the Bruins system, hes still very young. Ekholm is another guy Id like to see the Bs go after if Krug leaves

That opens up a signing for Hoffman, who I've always wanted the Bruins to go after. I get that a lot of his production comes on the PP, but the dude can shoot and if Ive ever seen a team that needs a shooter after watching the playoffs, its the Bruins. This also adds a lethal weapon to PP2 where there isnt normally one. Hall is too big of a question mark at likely too high of a price. He's not a guy like Backes who throws his body around so I think he can have some longevity in his career. Toffoli and Dadonov are also options.

For better or for worse Chara looks like he'll be back. Give him 15 minutes a night helping Lauzon/Clifton and getting most of his starts in the Dzone/ PK.

They can certainly dish off Ritchie but I dont really see the point in selling low on him. Hes at such a small cap hit might as well whip him into shape and try to increase his value.

Stop trading Kase, hes going to play the year with the Bruins
