I think Nurse for Ehlers is more fair for Winnipeg. I don’t think they would trade the 10OA. Not a big Murray fan, but if we got him, then we would have to get rid of Koskinen as that tandem would cost way too much money. I think Broberg is a hit or miss on if he is going to be ready next year (no in the middle). I think it’s a miss (so he isn’t ready next year). I think we have to give him a year to see how he does, but I could be wrong. Also I don’t think Ennis is a center.

It's really not though. Nurse is a mediocre 2nd pairing type defenseman. Ehlers is a legitimate top line forward.

Oilers fans are the worst fans when it comes to our own players. Nurse is not mediocre if you actually look at his comparables to other NHL D he generates a lot of offensive opportunities and he has a nasty side. I do think that both TO and WPG have interest in him although we cant trade him unless its for a top 6 forward that is young enough to play with McDavid for a few years. The good thing is that Holland is way smarter than all of us.

Nurse is absolutely a mediocre second pairing guy. Edmonton doesn't have a single defenseman that should be on an NHL top pairing,
