Might be the minority here but this is one of the more solid ones I’ve seen with pretty fair deals.

Im not necessarily pro moving Andersen, but I think this is kinda the best case scenario if they do. Who would you want to keep on the roster that I moved? Who would be your UFA target on D?

From Pittsburgh's POV:

McCann > Kerfoot
Murray > Dermott + 2nd

The Murray trade isn't terrible but I think they could do better for either player

Also a heads up Murray is going to make at least 6 AAV

Murray is probably a downgrade now but much younger and has higher upside and can get him on a better deal, I think it makes sense if you can get it done, and Brodie is the best and most affordable D target for leafs needs.

Fair. I thought I might be light on that one. Anyone from the Leafs interest you in return for Murray? I am assuming Dubas isnt trading 15OA back

I think the pens trade is fair Kerfoot is a good 3rd line center Demott would be a huge upgrade over JJ on the third d pair plus the second in a deep draft has a lot of value. Plus don't sign Simmons you already have guys on your roster better than him

McCann was healthy scratched by the Pens in the playoffs... he is not worth Kerfoot, and definitely not more valuable.

He was scratched one game and it was clearly a mistake....... I cannot think of a single metric that would show Kerfoot as better than McCann

Murray for Kap made sense to me a while back... not sure there's anything on that roster that helps Pittsburgh a ton this year and Toronto would be willing to move.

McCann, Murray for Dermott, Kerfoot, 2nd

Toronto ends up with the best two players here. The second doesn't bridge the gap.

So you are basing your entire argument on a guy being scratched one game? Maybe healthy scratch, maybe injury... But you are basing you entire position on that one game.

This shows the value of most opinions.
