CGY accepts.

You're quite a bit light on the ANA trade. Sam Steel isn't leaving ANA unless it's a big overpay. You're basically suggesting that Josh Manson is only worth Johnsson + Liljegren in this structure, and that's well below market.

Also think the NYR trade is light a good amount. NYR could get a better return by trading Georgiev and Strome individually to separate teams.

Lol nah that’s a solid trade as is. Rangers get cost certainty for a more two way middle C even if slight offensive downgrade and get upgraded at LD for the obv back up goalie.

Steel could be swapped with Milano, would prefer Steel but I'm good with Milano as well

Goalie market is saturated, like 6/7 options in FA and also a handful of RFAs available

Manson isn’t worth liljegren alone. I can only hope that dubas stays away from any trade involving Manson.

Surprised to hear this opinion. I guess I need to research Manson a bit more. Should be plenty of proof to understand his value given that he's 28 years old.

+ When does Liljegren actually factor into the Leafs Top 4?

Anaheim accepts the trade as amended (Manson, Milano, 36th overall for Johnsson, Liljegren and the 15th overall).

That is hard to say. I mean when does Dermott factor into the top 4? When do liljegren and Sandin factor into the top 6? It took Holl 5 years to earn a spot and went right into the top 4.

I think that’s what leads people on here to believe the leafs are so weak on D. I mean you put a top 4 with Dermott and liljegren and watch the comments fly. Liljegren could be the next andersson if he is ever given the time.

Personally I would like to see a defence that looks like

Rielly-Dermott
Muzzin-liljegren
Lehtonen-Holl

Let Marincin and Sandin come up in case of injuries.

Yeah I know what you’re thinking... wtf? But Dermott>ceci and liljegren>Holl and all of them>Barrie.

How many are signing a 1 year 5m deal? Other Lehner I don’t see a lot of good contracts coming out of FA this season.

Makes no sense for the Rangers to trade Strome when the purpose of acquiring Kerfoot is to provide more center depth. Strome would move to RW with either Chytil or Kerfoot centering Strome and Panarin. Strome could move back to center if there's an injury to a top 9 center.

Trading Strome for Kerfoot makes the Rangers weaker at center when center is a position the Rangers are looking to add more depth. So I agree that Strome should be taken out of the deal... But also the 2nd round pick. I believe Georgiev for Dermott and Kerfoot would help both NYR and TOR tremendously.
