Suter is aging pretty well and he's a minute munching player who is reliable. However, it would be a tough pill to take for the Habs. Unless the trade involves a clause similar to the deal with the Predators for Weber where if Suter retires the cap pentalty falls on Minnesota, not Montreal. I would also assume they would want the Wild to retain some salary? I am no expect (none of us realistically are).
