Def like it. Dunno if Buff has anything left in him though. But Gudas is the perfect signing for this team. I don't get why I'm not seeing more of it here in Leafs AGM rosters

Mikheyev is most likely going to sign a 1 year prove it deal

I doubt Maroon wants to leave America

Not sure you want to give Clifford 3 years, maybe 1 or 2

People are really pushing Gudas to the Leafs, but hes not a great defensive defenseman, hes just very physical

Signing a guy who hasnt played hockey in over a year to anything more than 1 million is a terrible idea

If Kapanen can fetch a 1st in return, so can Johnsson

They extended Holl this season, they wont trade him

Andersen can get you a first in return, that trade is a steal for Calgary

Gudas would probably ask for somewhere around 3 mil and is not the kind of guy you want playing on your top pair.

Byfuglien Is old, tired, and beat up, and isn’t gonna come back unless it’s worth it for him and a one year 2.5 mil contract isn’t worth it for him.

The third line is no different than what it was last year except instead of the names Kapanen and Johnson on jerseys it’s Robertson and Engvall.

I also don’t think a guy like Lehner - given what he’s dealt with in the past through mental health issues and being in Buffalo - would come to a city like Toronto whose fans **** on the goalie every chance they can.

I also don’t think Holl is worth a third round pick and a team like Nashville most certainly will not spend a third round pick and 2 mil a year for a guy who’s going to play third pairing.

Three magical cap dumps. No team is going to take salary head on in a trade.

I don't know if Byfuglien will come back or not. If he does it will have nothing to do with money. Buff doesn't care about the money. Dude is weird in that way. He's a ripped jeans and messy hair millionaire type dude. He's made that very clear. The reason he wanted to be listed as injured was so he could still play without being suspended by the league.

Those players aren't cap dumps. Dubas wants to totally change the bottom end and restructure the team. Johnsson is a player whose injury lowered interest in him still has value. If Dubas will find a team willing to pay what he considers worth it remains to be seen. Andersen is a fantastic goaltender who player hate because they think flopping around and diving for every save is a great thing. It's not. Andersen reads the play. It's chess to him. He's gotten better every year. After a 4 month layoff, he posted a 1.84 GAA and .936 Sv% His game isn't the issue. Some team is going to pay for him. Either now or when his contract ends but teams will want him. He's vastly underrated. Flopping makes for good highlight reels, not great goaltending. If a goalie is flopping he was out of position. No way they trade Holl he played really well with Muzzin. That's why he played so many minutes. I think having to upgrade that pick costs Clifford a contract on the Leafs. That's why the players wanted that against the CBA. You won't ever see conditions like that again.

They are getting decent players in return. Don’t think all the destinations work and some should be trades for players rather than signing sub par ufa’s.
