You're probably better off keeping anderson for 1 more year even if he walks after than go with Talbot and Campbell. Plus pitts has too many goalies already

Too many people want to throw Campbell the starter position. He could be that guy. He's not now. He's comfortable being the backup and being in love with the game. If he's going to turn into the starter people thought he would be it's going to be by easing into the position. He would first need to be in a 1/2 position taking about 30% of the season or so. The reason we got him is that they put too much on him too fast. Doing that same thing to him again would be stupid and wasteful.

Buffs playing next year, low risk high reward signing. Hainsey signed for 3.5M in Ottawa so its not that bad for Shattenkirk?

except there is nothing saying he is playing next year and lots of signs point towards retirment
also just because ottawa paid a ton of money for a crappy defender doesnt mean the leafs should over pay to take a chance on shattenkirk
