I’m sorry, but if a player comes out and says that you aren’t getting a premium package. Hell I doubt even fair market value simply because of leverage and the tendency of gm’s not wanting to keep guys who don’t wanna be there because they feel it creates a toxic situation. I always thought Danault would be the perfect 3C behind Suzuki and Kotkaniemi, give him a type of contract like Pageau/Nelson ( 6 years ~5.5M ) and have a shutdown 3rd line with Lehkonen on the LW and Armia next year on the RW ( Ylönen took over Armia in 2021-2022 ). We’ll see what happen, but a lot of team will be interested in Danault ( BUF WPG CGY DAL and I can keep going )
