I bought it down to the 3.5 per. It’s also a front loaded deal. I thought a young really good RHD prospect might be intriguing at that price. I’m not really aware of the Devils roster needs however.

They really need young D like Wilde. I am a big fan of his, but 3 years is just a long time to take on dead cap right now. especially for a (promising) but still unproven asset. Maybe for 2 years of komarov instead of Ladd, but there are gonna be a lot of teams offering some quality assets to dump cap on the devils.
