Description
I gave Holtby that contract because he's coming off a down year too like his individual stats were not very great but he's Braden freaking Holtby I think he can bounce back. I signed Austin Czarnik and Stone only for injuries really like you could just ignore that and yep what'd you think

Edit: original Lucic dumb was Kylington a second and third to LA but changes were made after receiving suggestions from @tkecanuck341

Détails additionnels:
Calgary gets a top six forward who is coming off a down year but I think he can bounce back if he plays with the right players, they also acquire a solid two way forward in lekhonen was pretty solid on the pk in the playoffs from what I saw. Calgary gets a first in a deep draft which they could flip or use
MTL
  1. Gaudreau, Johnny
Détails additionnels:
MTL finally gets the big time player they need yes he's also coming off a down year but I think he needs a new start and could you imagine a line something like Gaudreau Suzuki Gallagher/Armia or something like that is dangerous. When you trade for a big time player I think you sorta have to overpay a bit in case habs fans think it's too much

Détails additionnels:
Nashville's goaltending hasn't been that great but they've got a solid team. Rittich has for sure been better than Rinne so I don't think this is a bad idea for both teams

Not enough to get the Kings to take Lucic. Starts with a 1st round pick, then throw in a quality forward prospect or a 2nd round pick on top of that.

Calgary trades kylington so would it be fair if it was a 1st kylington and Lucic? With like a third

Not really. Change Kylington to Pelletier and the Kings would go for it.

Saying NSH needs better goaltending then trying to trade Rittich to them is like when Leaf fans say NSH needs more offense, then wants to pawn off 3rd liners like Kerfoot and Johnsson on the Preds.

Rittich had a down year while Rinne is just declining and getting older, I'd try rittich for one year and see what happens but that's just me

Remove Kylington (the Kings don't really have any use for another LHD prospect) and change the 3rd to a 1st and the Kings say yes.

Rinne just has one year left, and a rare (for NSH) NMC. He's not going to be moved in his final season, and they'd be foolish to give up on Saros. That would leave them with no NHL goalies for 20-21, and just a promising prospect in the system that hasn't seen any NHL action yet. So what do the Preds do with three goalies next year? That's why I compared him to Kerfoot or Johnsson. Both situations have Nashville needlessly taking on salary for meh players they don't have spots for.

Fair enough. Kings probably decline this one too though.

Detroit might make sense. Rittich would be a legitimate upgrade for them, and he wouldn't cost them a ton in cap space or assets. I'd be shocked if they re-signed Howard, and they don't seem to have any prospects ready to make the jump.
