I personally think 8th overall for Cirelli would be Buffalo's best bet. But I definitely see Nylander flourishing as a number 2 centre. Would let him control the ice more. The guy is crazy skilled.

If I were Buffalo, I would look at trading the pick. Only for a young player that fits. They need to support Eichel and Dahlin before they decide to run away or ask for a trade like every other big name Buffalo has had in recent years.

Eichel is a special player. Need to build around him. And you also don't want to rush Cozens by penciling him into a center spot right off the bat.

I think the Vancouver route is better. Get the good prospect and look to trade the 2021 first. But I have no expectations. They will probably draft Jake Sanderson even though they have drafted 3 LD in the first and 2nd round the past two years.

Nylander is better than the average 7th-10th pick. This does not solve our issues.

I think the value here is relatively fair, but idt Buffalo does it because they need a 2c rather than a RW. Good idea though.
