You can safely assume that is Nylander is moving there will be a significant RHD with some term coming back in the deal. No way they move likely their most valuable trade chip and a first round pick plus a year of a solid starting goaltender for a good top 6 forward and a Tender that has trended downward a bit over the past year.

Calling Andersen a 'solid starting goaltender' is a huge huge stretch. Coming off terrible season and 3 straight years of being fairly bad in the playoffs does not make a solid goalie right now

Y'all need to chill on Freedie. The dude put up a .936 this year, and a .922 last year, his GAA in this years playoffs was under 2.

When you pay your forward group that much, and your goalie and defence combined for numbers that are that solid the fault does not lie with them.
Columbus shut the forwards down.
Columbus physically dominated the Leafs.
I doubt you will get an affordable goalie who is better without drafting them.
