I get it, but they want to win now by signing Hall, maybe getting that first pairing D to play with OEL would help them succeed. Of course, Soderstrom is a highly touted prospect, but as you stated in one of your comments, it would take an overpayment for MB to trade Petry. Getting a high potential prospect like Soderstrom is an overpayment imo.
