Thats WAY too little to give up for Tyler Seguin sadly, it also wouldnt make any sense for Dallas since theyd be putting themselves in cap hell with both Kreider's and Trouba's deals

If you’re making a 5 for 1 trade, it’s going to get denied. It means you’re just giving up a bunch of stuff you don’t care about losing for something of value 9 times out of 10.

That said, i don’t think you want seguin.

DAL declines. Quantity for quality trade doesn't work, and DAL is in no position to take ~20M in salary while giving up only 10.

I don’t want Seguin or his contract. Dudes never put up 90 points and he makes almost $10 mil. Completely unnecessary. Stop being so impatient and let the prospects develop.

Too much cap coming back Dallas’ way in the Seguin trade. And if we’re trading our 1C it would start with a prospect you don’t want to give up. Not a handful of roster players you don’t need. That doesn’t help the rebuild (which is what we would be doing if we’re trading Segs). I won’t get into the Segs hasn’t been good in a while argument as anybody that has seen the system we’ve been running should already know better. But if you want a team’s franchise center it’s gonna take pieces you don’t want to give up

You are overvaluing basically everyone here, especially Henriksson. Henriksson is great but top prospect certainly isnt a word id use. Also Trouba's deal REALLY isnt good at all. Dallas would be in cap hell. And it seems like other people agree with me so....
