Anaheim gets a good young 2nd pairing RHD who is terrific defensively and also has a hint of offense along with a guy projected to be a good middle 6 player for a young and gritty future top 9 forward and a young LHD stuck behind the stacked left side of Anaheim's defense. This trade is a huge help in terms of positional need for both teams. Anaheim has a ton of young left wingers in the system in Rakell, Comtois, Tracey, Heinen, and Lundestrom which makes Jones expendable. However on right wing, they only have Silfverberg, and Terry with only Sherwood coming up so they need some help there and Kole Lind fits the bill. Anaheim has a plethora of LHD but they need a young RHD playing in the NHL already and that's where Stecher comes in. Overall I believe it's a positional swap that is beneficial for both teams involved. Fair?
