Ehlers can be just as inconsistent as DeBrincat, and DeBrincat is the far superior forward, what's the point?

Add Koekkoek and a 3rd to the Ehlers trade, then maybe the Jets consider trading their best forward

You are overrating Ehlers. I agree he is a little better then Debrincat but not that much and which is why, adding Dylan Strome is more then enough. Strome is worth a 1st and a decent prospect, with Cat, that more then makes up the difference.

How are you agreeing to this? Debrincat got 76 points and 41 goals. Ehlers never reached 30 goals nor 65 points.

So how much better do you think he is then Cat? I mean, a 55 point 23 year old center in Strome isn't enough to clearly tip the scales in favor of the Jets? I'm taken aback honestly. Ehlers has never put up 30 goals or even 65 points (something Debrincat has done in spades 2 years younger) and yet you are acting as if he's a 100 point winger.

I'm agreeing Ehlers is a little better then Cat because he's a better dynamic winger, but obviously not a better shooter. I included Strome in the trade because I thought it clearly was in favor of the Jets and everybody wouldn't freak out. I'm not convinced Ehlers for Cat straight up isn't that unfair on paper to be honest, but I'd get roasted for it
