Description

Yeah that's right. WORST TEAM EVER. We're slow. We have no creativity. We're poor in our own end and that's right...we can't even steal a game with goaltending. You lose to us, everyone on your team immediately goes on the trading block. On the flip side, don't try to run the score up on us either...Reaves and Lucic will knock you senseless.

And yes, if you check the Athletic's Dom Luszczyszyn's GSVA projections, you will find almost all of them have a negative score.

Listen, Zucc's great when he's playing with other fast and creative players...but as we found out in Minnesota, he's actually really bad when he's not playing with them. He's a good passer but not a great creator of space. So on a team like this where he's the fastest player...his game will suffer big time.

Just so many formerly good players regressing so quickly at the same time. It's a beautifully terrible masterpiece that has developed in Detroit. I feel bad for the likes of Bertuzzi, Larkin, and Mantha. However you know who looks likely to be the next team with that issue? My Minnesota Wild...

Sure he doesn't have that bad of a contract, but I will argue that he's not very good. A middle 6 center should not be getting 21 pts and a -42 +/-. If all you're going to contribute is 21 pts, you better be fantastic defensively.

And agreed on the honorable mentions.

Jones numbers have to be close and he did it in back to back years as his contract started not at the end of one line dubnyk,
And vlassic and Karlsson have to be on this list
