Eklund said, "Tonight, talking to those inside (and outside of) the bubble I am hearing talk of three teams with a serious interest in Leafs William Nylander..

Those teams are Minnesota, Columbus, and Anaheim... The Wild and Jackets have the obvious defense help Toronto so very desperately need...I am told there is a growing chance that Nylander is moved as a result of the Leafs not making the playoffs...

Eklund is never wrong and one of the most reliable analysts so what do you think is a good trade for Nylander.

I would be fine with a trade worked out around either Manson or Savard. Personally not interested in Dumba, but the Leafs may feel differently.

Fair, but probably leaves us as a very bad team again next year. Not sure how you fill the hole on the right side unless you then flip around and trade some futures for a couple of Rd's...Seems like 1 step forward on offence, and a couple back on D.

I would take my chances once we had Nylander in the fold. Or we could make an offer to Dylan De Melo.

Maybe Jamie Drysdale is still available at #6, and turns into the next Cale Makar or Quinn Hughes.

And then there are stopgaps like Troy Stecher or Radko Gudas. But please, no Tyson Barrie or Rasmus Ristolainen or even Chris Tanev.

I'm happy to get Barrie if Manson stays. Manson and Gudbranson can handle the vast majority of D-zone starts, and Barrie would be a huge addition to the PP (Which was basically dead last in the league this year). But yeah, for the love of god don't trade for Risto.
