I think the Toronto trade isnt bad, with Dobson, Mayfield, Liljgren and Wilde long term they should be fine. Could even sign a stop gap short term

Toronto trade is horrible. Nylander would be a disaster on the Isles, exact type of player that does not fit the Trotz system. He would go from a 30 goal scorer to maybe a 20 goal scorer and wanting to leave because he does not like Trotz's system. Pulock is the 2nd most important player on this team and not being moved.

I get the frustration. Rangers get insanely "lucky" getting the second overall last year and now the first overall. after only 3 years of not being good. Isles are in the top 5 worst teams for many years and only get the first overall once. It's beat but that's the benefit of being an O6 team.

It is what is it. The only silver lining is hopefully they become Toronto 2.0 and don't' understand what defence is.
