No - Larkin is 24 AND the future captain of the team....context is totally different. FLA is going nowhere and Huberdeau isn't some superstar. A top D prospect, a first round prospect and another 1st rounder in a deep draft, you're nuts if you dont think FLA accepts that.

So adding huberdeau to this team puts this team up towards a near favorite to win the East so like I said a 25 ish pick isn’t really that great. They have barkov as a captain but huberdeau is close behind as a leader. So like I said Larkin isn’t worth that trade value neither is huberdeau. And this team isn’t rebuilding they’re not bringing in Anew gm to trade everyone away. The core is good they need to change the defense and this team will be really good.

Contracts don't make superstars, and in no way does this make the Isles a near favorite to win anything. What are you watching?
