I think Toews is exactly what they neew. Young, pp quaterback and LHD. Maybe it's an overpaiment by 500 -1k but it will put isle in a tough position with pulock and barzal.

Toews is worth it, but there a very small chance a team OS him. Bergevin probably values Leddy more than toews.

This one is really interesting. Toews has advanced stats that scream a top 4 guy, but most people really never heard of him. It would be tough to give up a first and a third for him, though. Maybe he's a really good trade candidate that an industrious team like the Canadiens can poach for less-then market value because of the cap contraints that the Isles are in?

Isle staff knows him well and he's their futur top LHD. I don't think they will let him go for cheap.
