That is by far the best offense in the league. Especially after someone grows into the 3C. Buffalo trade can have work done to it. Dermott is a good player. Henri is. To me dermott is the better player especially after playing in more d-zone starts and putting out a +13. Deal can be fixed.

Yes we got him because Bowman loves offense only and does not care about a non flashy responsible defenseman that doesn't put up 40 - 50 points. The OP has him as top pairing defenseman on this team for the leafs

Yes. That is literally how it works on AGM. You make a team based on trades and signings.

Hertl > Domi every single day of the week

With no major injury concerns I would give him a slight edge because he is better defensively. Domi is a career 55 per 82 point player while Hertl is 51 per 82. Domi is 1.5 years younger so it is reasonable to expect he has more potential for growth and he is the better skater which translates that in his years over 30 he is likely better able to hold off the rapid decline in play longer

Well if a Pittsburgh fan offers that trade and then puts Holl on their top pair over Marino and Letang that is the argument they are making.

Yes, Hertl's injury history is not good, and Domi is a younger player with better skating ability, but like I said I still take Hertl all day. He's a much better driver of the play with an underrated ability to protect the puck in tight spaces. He's a great passer, a decent shooter, and extremely creative. Not saying that Domi's not good at any of those things, but there's 0 chance that Hertl's worth less than Domi on the market in my opinion.
