Yes, Jost is a gamble. So is Anderson. Anderson has produced significantly at the NHL level; Jost has not. Andy's outcome if things don't go well is he doesn't play for us anymore, but we've got lots of RWs. Jost's outcome if he doesn't work out is Yet Another Depth Center of the kind we already have several of.
I think the Andy gamble has a better chance of paying off and is therefore more worthwhile. Frankly, I wouldn't do it straight up, let alone with us adding.
