i have a theory that a lot of the run-of-the-mill hockey types don't like dubas because a) he's young, b) he's a nerd and c) he didn't play professionally. hockey fans and especially rugrat players who couldn't make it love to believe they know better than everyone, and the fact that dubas isn't the archetypical hockey executive adds onto that.
