Trade Kapanen instead of Kerfoot. Leafs have lots of depth on the wing with guys like Barabanov and Robertson breaking in, but not nearly as much at centre where their best options are Gauthier, Engvall and Brooks. Spezza at this stage isn't good enough for anything but the 4th line.

No team will win anything without a solid goalie. Making Campbell the 1G is not the solution.
