Just thought about it, but which team do you think would manage the best without their three most important players?
As for how I'd view the most important players of each team, I'd say they'd be:
ANA: Gibson, Lindholm, Rakell
ARI: Hall, OEL, Kuemper
BOS: Bergeron, Marchand, Rask
BUF: Eichel, Dahlin, Reinhart
CAR: Aho, Hamilton, Slavin
CGY: Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Giordano
CHI: Kane, Toews, Kubalik
COL: MacKinnon, Rantanen, Makar
CBJ: Dubois, Jones, Werenski
DAL: Heiskanen, Seguin, Bishop
DET: Larkin, Mantha, Bertuzzi
EDM: McDavid, Draisaitl, Nugent-Hopkins
FLA: Barkov, Huberdeau, Ekblad
LA: Kopitar, Doughty, Quick
MIN: Spurgeon, Suter, Fiala
MTL: Price, Weber, Petry
NSH: Josi, Ellis, Forsberg
NJ: Blackwood, Hischier, Severson
NYI: Barzal, Pulock, Eberle
NYR: Panarin, Zibanejad, Fox
OTT: Chabot, Tkachuk, Duclair
PHI: Couturier, Giroux, Hart
PIT: Crosby, Malkin, Letang
SJ: Karlsson, Burns, Hertl
STL: Pietrangelo, Tarasenko, O'Reilly
TB: Hedman, Kucherov, Vasilevski
TOR: Matthews, Marner, Rielly
VAN: Pettersson, Markström, Hughes
VGK: Theodore, Marchessault, Pacioretty
WSH: Ovechkin, Carlson, Bäckström
WPG: Hellebuyck, Scheifele, Morrissey
Note that they might not be essentially their best players, but rather positionally and effectively the most important assets. If you disagree with the choices, I'd very much like to hear your thoughts on why.
Can't really figure what team would be most effected and which one the least...
