If the jets win Laffy, they should trade one of their wingers, or switch one to centre.

I'm still holding onto the hope that Roslovic can reach his potential at center, but if not yeah might have to make the tough decision to trade a winger

I know you will probably hate this, but try Lafreniere at centre. i remember that he used to play centre or something like that so he wouldn't be a bad 2C. If he fails then just move Ehlers or Wheeler

Given his age and contract maybe wheeler but then you're also trading his leadership, he is the heart and soul of that forward group.

They desperately need to target someone like Cirelli or Domi. I’m tired of these patchwork fixes.

Trade Connor for Cirelli+something. I could see TB accepting this.

Connor is a 40 goal scorer he could probably fetch more, also TB wouldn't be able to afford his cap hit

Which is why I said Cirelli+something. I do agree that he's worth more. But I personally think he should be the guy moved over Laine and Ehlers, if they were planning to move one of these wingers to gain a true 2C.

I'm leary of both Cirelli was on pace for 53 points playing with kutch then stamkos as well. Domi has only one good season, same with Strome. if we win the lottery Wheelers size would make him more effective at center. It may be a bit off but can see Harkins as that guy in a year or two.

He's criminally underrated. He had to be the defensive conscience with Ehlers and Laine. If he'd played all season be around 55-60 point season with there improved defensive games

If Jets win 1OA, I say draft Laffy, and OS for Cirelli.
Or...
trade down with Ottawa for 3OA (Byfield/Stuzle) Isles 1st, Ott 2nd, and one of Norris/JBD/Lassi. Refill the prospect pool and trade one of our wingers+ for a Pulock/Ekblad/Pesce kinda player.
With Florida being knocked out, wonder if they would entertain a Laine/Ekblad trade to shake things up?
