Total BS man. Lou has been circumventing the Cap for years and I'm sick and tired of the League not doing any real enforcing. He cheated to get away with Lupul and Clarkson injuries, he cheated the Kovalchuk contract (twice I think) and now he's pulling off more BS. The league is a joke in reigning this stuff in.

Leave it to Islander fans to believe Lou can some how conjure fake injuries to get out of cap trouble. It doesn't work that way. Laad can play and it's cap circumvention to pretend to not be able to. Another team could file a grievance and an independent physical will be conducted. So unless Laad cuts off his own hand to save Lou (which he won't) he's a 5.5 million dollar anchor for 4 more seasons.
