No one is going to believe this. The Hawks are a FAR better 5v5 team. It's not even a debate. They're crushing EDM. But EDM got opportunist goals last game and here too. Does that absolve the Hawks poor PP......NO! But EDM has a VERY VERY bad team. Its McDavid. Thats it. Just McDavid.

If Alex Nylander ain't going to score points the very least he could do is not be a liability. I think he had a strong game tonight, and while he hasn't scored in three games I think this is going to be big for his development into a more well rounded player.

Game 2 aside, I think he's been solid.

Look I'm not saying Nylander is breaking the game wide open, just that he is working hard and he is going to get his points eventually.

And a little bit of Draisaitl... and Yamamoto... and Nugent-Hopkins. Their defense is just atrocious. No Larsson hurt them.



I don't know why that's the 4th line's job, Kampf is a good shut down guy, but Highmore and Carpenter aren't the same as a line with Kubalik and Saad during the regular season. I still think the Toews line has to take that match up, and just let the Kane line take all the O zone starts.
